Duke University linear applets

There are some nice interactive applets developed in the Web Feats II Workshop at Duke University (2002)

• showing graphically the solution of 2x2 linear systems A x = b
• showing graphically the determination of eigendirections of a 2x2 matrix: A x = λ x
• the entire collection of linear applets

The eigenvector applet alone without any text: applet. [It uses an older Java, not supported by any of the most popular browsers any longer!]

Maple finally now has the ability to duplicate almost this nice applet with the markers option of the Explore command.
