Fermi books from Remo Ruffini: README.TXT

This book project has a long history starting in 2002 and the book files are all in one folder from what was to be a single book but now are to be two books, one of which would only be published as an e-book since it consists of reprints of articles and new translations of old articles by Fermi in Italian which are useful to have available electronically but not necessarily printed on paper. The first book to be published regularly on paper is Remo Ruffini's story of general relativity and its child---relativistic astrophysics, as seen from his viewpoint as a key participant in the latter.

The whole folder of source files for the two books is about 160MB because of the many PDF graphics files included both as figure  files and as article scans with a LaTeX2PDF typesetting choice that utilizes only PDF graphics files and a World Scientific book style. The original structure of the LaTeX documents was done by my colleague Andrea Geralico who is slightly more expert in these aspects of LaTeX than me, so it is difficult for me to easily cleanly divide the materials into two separate parts that work independently.
