of the dishes they serve, perfectly executed by their meticulous staff and

Every time we have visited for lunch or dinner we
have been blown away by the antipasti and primi we usually sample from. Even
the caffe' macchiato we end our lunches with is special, with a little
thimblefull of tiramisu to accompany it. bob stirs his miniportion into his
coffee to give it that extra kick.

These "Giovedi' Gnocchi!" were heavenly
in a delightfully simple sauce of anice and lemon. The pappardelle (whole
wheat!) with artichokes in a redish sauce of pimento origin was unlike anything
we have ever tasted. The carrot puree with 3 islands of bread cubes lifting up
delticate little veggies was really nice. The cod "formato" (molded
shape) was delivered by mistake for enough time to photograph before it was
swept away to its rightful diner. Must have been amazing like everything else
in this place. Fresh foccaccia helped "scarpetta" up the sauces. Air
conditioned comfort, an option terrace view of Rome if weather permits it. All
in all a spectacular venue for those of us infrequent visitors who can splurge
for this level meal.
