Dear colleague,

It gives us great pleasure to announce the opening of on-line registration 
  http://www.icra.it/MG/mg12/en/registration.htm
for the Marcel Grossmann Meeting next summer in Paris at the
UNESCO headquarters. It is important that all parallel session chairs
self-register themselves! This is the only way to get you into our conference 
database efficiently as a participant. We remind you that it is also important
to invite a handful of qualified contributors (4-5) who will scientifically 
qualify your session and ask them also to register. The separate conference fee payment page will be activated within a week or two.

We request that all parallel session chairs please send us as quickly as
possible:
1) a head shot photo (or web link to one) to identify them on our web page program,
2) their official website URL to which their publications and vita are linked
   to accompany the photo (see our examples below), and
3) a brief few line summary of the intent of the parallel session
   to clarify the personal scientific imprint the chairperson intends
   to give to his or her session.
This latter summary is useful as a guide for participants to decide where 
to submit their abstracts.

All the morning plenary sessions will be held at the UNESCO headquarters.
However, Bastille Day (July 14) falls on the Tuesday of the meeting week, 
offering a unique opportunity for participants to take part in the famous 
French day of national celebration in its capital. We will leave Tuesday
afternoon free for participants to enjoy all the related events in Paris.
The conference banquet will also take place at the UNESCO site on 
Wednesday. The conference will end at lunch Saturday.

The parallel sessions will be split among UNESCO and a number of
institutions near by. Preliminary interactive maps of the UNESCO 
conference site and the additional parallel session sites and a 
global map showing all the supporting institutions are available at
