Dear Parallel Session Chairpersons for MG12,

It gives us great pleasure to inform you of the progress that has been 
made in the organization of MG12 up to the present date. The plenary 
sessions will take place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris one week
later than initially planned due to logistical difficulties that
UNESCO's kind intervention resolved. Bastille Day (July 14) falls
on the Tuesday of the meeting week, offering a unique opportunity
to participants to take part in the famous French day of national
celebration in its capital.

The parallel sessions will be split among UNESCO and a number of
institutions near by. Preliminary interactive maps of the UNESCO 
conference site and the additional parallel session sites and a 
global map showing all the supporting institutions are available at

We still need a few remaining chair suggestions. Please check that
your own name and email address and session title are correct on 
this page.

We are working on the plenary speaker program and we urge you now
to make suggestions on potential topics and speakers which you believe 
should be seriously considered for inclusion. Your input can be crucial 
in influencing the next steps we take at this moment. We plan to 
make available a partial list of confirmed speakers by the end of
December.

We hope to open the on-line registration soon in order to allow everyone 
to take advantage of advance purchase of travel tickets. In particular,
through registration, participants will be able to take advantage of 
special Air France air fares.
