Dear MG11 International Coordinating Committee Member,

As a member of this committee, I are very happy to keep you 
informed of a number of issues that we think will be of 
interest to you: the MG11 proceedings, the MG12 preparations,
and the International Relativistic Astrophysics PhD (IRAP)
sponsored by ICRA and ICRANet.

1) MG11 PROCEEDINGS

The final details of the printing of the MG11 proceedings
are being completed in these very days, and copies will be
mailed out from the publisher World Scientific in Singapore
to the participants shortly. As I are sure you will agree,
a glance at the cover art directly imprinted on the hard cover 
of the three volumes

will assure you that once again World Scientific has done an
excellent job of producing these proceedings.

2) MG12 PREPARATION

We are beginning the preparations for the Twelth Marcel
Grossmann Meeting MG12 to be held in Paris, France
the week of July 5-11, 2009, Sunday though Saturday.

As information becomes available it will be posted on the
meeting website and we will keep you informed of new developments
by email.

Paris is a wonderful city for any event, but we are especially
happy to make it a first time destination for our MG Meeting series.
The historic University of Paris La Sorbonne will host the meeting,
and the local organizing committee has enlisted the help of the
key institutions in Paris relevant to the meeting to assist in
this event. Parallel sessions will be held in rooms selected from 
among the following institutions:

 Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (IAP)
 Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS)
 Institute Henri Poincare (IHP)
 College de France
 Observatoire de Paris

As you know, the preparation of the MG Meetings would not be
possible without the generous help of this large network of 
committee members and we all appreciate very much your contribution.
This is a preliminary inquiry to find out whether or not you
are interested in continuing your role on the International 
Coordinating Committee from MG11 to MG12. This committee

email and we would appreciate your suggestions for a replacement. 
Please do me the favor of replying to this email one way or the 
other so we know you actually received it.

Since most of our work relies on efficient email communication,
we must be able to contact you and get a reply via email.
That means if I am able to establish contact in the first place,
that you put the MG12 email address in your address 
book/contacts list or safe list or doing whatever it takes
to allow our incoming emails to pass through to your mailbox.
We also need the string "mg12" somewhere in the subject line of
email sent back to the meeting address when forwarded to individual
mailboxes can be easily filtered into a folder for organizational
purposes, and we need a useful subject line so we can categorize
how to deal with it and find it later in the sea of email if needed.

3) IRAP Phd

On behalf of ICRA and ICRANet, I take this occasion to inform you 
of the progress made in the International Relativistic Astrophysics 
PhD Program (IRAP) sponsored by ICRA and ICRANet which is playing 
a crucial role in the development of young relativists.
