Letters of invitation necessary for visa applications or funding requests to be
submitted to institutions in your own country can be obtained upon request
made to the meeting email address.

If you intend to attend the meeting, please register soon to enter your

Optional on-site registration will take place Sunday afternoon
at the UNESCO headquarters as well as each day before the plenary
sessions. The plenary sessions will take place Monday through Saturday
mornings there, with the closing of the meeting at the end of the last
morning session. Tuesday afternoon will be free to enjoy the Bastille Day
celebrations. The conference banquet will take place Wednesday evening
at the UNESCO headquarters.

Parallel sessions will take place on four afternoons: Monday,
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in five rooms at UNESCO headquarters
and at some of the most outstanding scientific institutions nearby
(by metro) which have witnessed fundamental discoveries in
physics and mathematics, including the Ecole Normale Superieure,
l'Observatoire de Paris, the Collège de France, l'Institut Henry
Poincaré, all within walking distance of the Pantheon
(Foucault's pendulum) in the Latin Quarter.
