These rough lecture notes were at first not intended for other eyes, but then
it became clear that this was a more efficient way of giving a broad overview of
each part of the book helping to focus on the main points of the lengthy discussion in my
book. Accompanying lectures are also
on-line, apart from the glitches in recording sound/ missing one lecture/
etc the first week. The sections covered in each lecture are broken down below
